Tasha Hubbard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Saskatchewan. Tasha Hubbard is a Treaty 6 Cree filmmaker and Lecturer with the Department of Native Studies at the University of Manitoba. Her 2005 Gemini-award-winning documentary Two Worlds Colliding brought to light the Saskatoon police’s notorious starlight rides. Her film and academic work focuses on Indigeneity, including themes of social justice, transformation through art, and representations of the Buffalo. Her current film practice is expanding to include non-linear digital media and drama.
