Gordon Pon is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Ryerson University. His research interests include anti-racism, anti-colonialism, child welfare, and the study of Chinese Canadians. Recent publications include an article in the International Journal of Child, Youth and Family Studies entitled Immediate Response: Addressing Anti-Native and Anti-Black Racism in Child Welfare and a book chapter titled Queering Asian masculinities and transnationalism: Implications for anti-oppression and consciousness raising (University of Toronto Press).
